When to visit
November to February is generally cooler. March to May is hottest, while rainy-season showers often arrive in short, heavy bursts.
Temple clothing
For major temples and the Grand Palace, cover shoulders and knees and avoid transparent, ripped or excessively tight clothing.
Entrance fees
Check each tour’s inclusions. For the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun tour, allow approximately 1,000 THB per person when tickets are not included.
Getting around
BTS and MRT trains are useful, but Bangkok’s river boats, local ferries and taxis are often needed for the historic centre.

Are Bangkok tours hotel pickup tours?
Pickup arrangements depend on the experience. Our central Bangkok temple tour uses a fixed meeting point, while some full-day tours offer a selection of meeting locations. Always follow the information shown for your chosen product.
What should I wear to Bangkok’s temples?
Shoulders and knees should be covered at the Grand Palace and major temples. Avoid sleeveless tops, short skirts or shorts, transparent clothing, ripped clothing and very tight outfits.
Are entrance tickets included?
Inclusions vary by tour and are clearly stated before booking. When entrance fees are not included, tickets are purchased at the official counters during the tour.
How large are the groups?
Group sizes are shown on each tour. Many of our Bangkok sightseeing experiences are deliberately limited to small groups, with our principal temple tour capped at 10 guests.
