Where should first-time visitors begin?
Marrakech is an excellent introduction and combines easily with Essaouira. With more time, add Fes, Chefchaouen or a journey towards the Sahara.
How long should I spend in Morocco?
Seven days works for two or three areas. Ten to fourteen days gives you more time for a broader route combining cities, mountains, coast or desert.
When is the best time to visit?
Spring and autumn often bring comfortable touring weather. The coast works across a broad season, while the desert and south can be very hot in summer and mountain winters are cold.
Do I need to book experiences in advance?
Reserve desert trips, popular day tours, limited-entry sights and peak-season accommodation ahead when possible, especially when your dates are fixed.
